A recent pew research report suggests that many people in the world are not satisfied with their democracy. Has democracy lost its luster? Poland, Hungary, Brazil, are interesting case studies. They have populist, conservative leaders at the helm, yet they have varied responses. The United States is a shocker. Or is it really? Especially when compared to its northern neighbor, Canada.
